Clamidia, treatment 

            95% of people who treat clamidia trachomatis are effectively cured of the disease once detected. Here are the current CDC (Centers for Disease Control)  guidelines for the following treatments of Clamidia trachomatis:

 

  • Azithromycin: One of the worlds’ best selling antibiotics. Azithromycin is used to treat bacterial infections like middle ear infections, tonsillitis, throat infections and laryngitis, pneumonia, bronchitis, etc. It is also greatly effective towards sexually transmitted diseases (STD’s) such as Clamidia, cervicitis, and many more. One would take this orally (1 tablet a day).
  • Doxycycline: Doxycycline is commonly used to treat Clamidia, Syphilis, Sinusitis, PID (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease), Prostatitis, acne, and rosacea (flushing/redness of the cheeks, nose, for-head, etc.).
  • Tetracycline:  Most commonly used for acne, this method of treatment may be used for Clamidia as well.
  • Erythromycin: Erythromycin us commonly used to treat outbreaks of Clamidia, Syphilis, acne, and gonorrhea. Available in tablets, gels, and injection form.
